Attending New York Fashion Week has been on my list of things to do before I started blogging!! The glamour of dressing up and attending runway fashion shows in one of the greatest cities in the world seems so wonderful. Since this is my first time, I planned to just have a taste of it instead of going overboard and left clueless.
My instagram followers would know that I attended NYFW last Friday. It was one of a kind experience and was also my first so I had no clue. I arrived at the venue 30 mins prior to the show just to know that fashion shows always start atleast 30 mins late. I booked for 8:30 PM show which featured new designers Trade by Gina La Morte, Neubyrne, Chasity Sereal and Yurita Puji.
For my outfit, I picked the cocktail dress from Windsor, a pair of block heels, a satchel bag from Michael Kors and jewelry from Rocksbox.
Trade by Gina La Morte:
Simple yet elegant show!! Love everything about this collection, the shades of nude, the textures and the bronze eyemakeup on models.
Neubyrne:
This was my favorite show of that day, most fun and exhilarating!!. Neubyrne collection is for a girl who is bold, not afraid to experiment, love to have colors in her life and have so much fun.
Yurita Puji:
Love this Indonesian inspired collection, the colors and pochempalli kind of design goes well together.
Chasity Sereal:
This show reminded me of fairy tales, everything from the floral dye to natural makeup to purple Cinderella dress.
Photos by Nolcha shows (I was so focused on sharing the videos on Instastories, could not get good pictures) Thanks Nolcha Shows for having me at NYFW.
I hope you enjoyed this post even-though there is just one show. As I said, I wanted to have a taste of fashion week so I did not book for more than one show. I will definitely attend more shows in the future, promise more pictures too.

That’s so cool that you got to go to a fashion show! I feel like I would be so intimidated simply because I am super unfashionable despite how much I try haha although I never totally understood are the designers actually selling their items of clothing or just sharing inspiration? I can’t imagine anyone actually wearing some of the outfits I see at fashion shows but the particular themes and colors do seem to carry on in some way into mainstream fashion
