Add some Metallics to your Spring Wardrobe

Metallics made their way onto our spring wardrobes in all possible ways. We have seen metallic footwear, bombers, pants and pleated skirts on trend from last year. They were used only to create party looks just the year before. It is changed right after Gucci showcased gold and silver pleated skirts on their spring collection last year. From that moment, metallic skirts ruled the instagram, pinterest and all blogger social media. To be honest, they have become versatile since then. It can be styled with oversized sweater and sneakers to achieve casual look or with pretty halter top and heels to get that chic evening look.

I have styled metallics in two ways for this post. My first look is metallic culottes, yes they come in culottes too and I found mine at Zara (#zaragirl all the time :P). My second one is silver metallic pleated skirt from shein.

Metallic culottes: Black and silver metallic combo is classic and works well together. To style these culottes for evening look, I chose the black crochet top from windsor and my all time favorite aldo boots. I completed the look with my pochette metis, I chose not to wear shoulder strap for this look to give that edgy touch.

Silver Metallic Pleated skirt: I love midi pleated skirts, they are feminine, pretty and flattering on all body shapes. This silver metallic skirt, featuring pleats, creates just enough flash to create day-friendly looks. I have styled my skirt with striped sweater and heels to achieve daytime casual look. It can be styled with a basic buttoned down shirt, halter top for evening look and so on. Let me know in the comments how would you style this look?
