Summer dress over turtleneck

Are you missing your summer dresses? I know, who doesn’t?  I love summer dresses not only for the comfort and effortless style but for the plenty of options out in the market to suit every body type and style.

Every time I look at my summer dresses in my closet, I feel sad for not wearing them as much as I want to. I have been thinking to incorporate them into my winter looks, after all it is mostly layering. I have seen and well known of this trend of pairing a dress with stockings and a jacket for transforming them to winter outfits. I want to experiment and create new looks, well that is fashion blogger talking :P.

I started looking for some inspirations and I fell in love with one of Chriselle’s look from chrisellefactor where she styled her ruffle dress over turtleneck. I am sure most of you already know her. If you do not know, please go check out her blog (chrisellefactor). She is an amazing person with impeccable style and my greatest inspiration in fashion. She is a pro in mixing and creating chic looks.

So for this look, I have this sweater dress from Windsor and my favorite button down dress from target, both are old but I have linked similar ones at the end of the post. The sweater dress has turtleneck which makes it perfect for this look, a normal turtleneck sweater will work too. I am going for a sleek and chic look, so I tied up my hair which I think I am trying it for the first time on my blog. I completed the look with my latest favorite boots from Aldo and my red lipstick from bitebeauty. I would have added stockings under my dress if it was cold that day, but I went with spring like weather.
